Sellout Music...

So the other day I was at work and someone played "We Built This City" by Jefferson Starship on their computer and I commented that I hated the song because it reflected just how much the former Jefferson Airplane had sold out. A co-worker said to me, "I like when artists sell-out because they make happy music..." Why do I even bother?
